Cahaba Medical Care - Woodland Park NOW OPEN

On Monday, September 25th, Cahaba Medical Care officially opened its 27th clinic location in the Woodland Park neighborhood in Birmingham!

Woodland Park has needed a dedicated medical care facility, and we are proud to be able to fill this gap. Our mission is to provide comprehensive and compassionate healthcare services to all individuals, regardless of their ability to pay. This new location allows us to better serve the residents of Woodland Park and the surrounding areas.

Please join us in warmly welcoming our amazing team members serving patients at this new location, including Dr. Clara Formby, Dr. Megan Ward, Dr. Josiah Smiley, and Office Manager Sharay Shanes. These individuals bring a wealth of experience and passion for providing quality healthcare to our patients. With the addition of a highly skilled team of medical assistants, receptionists, social workers, and other clinical staff, we are confident that we can continue to deliver exceptional care to the community.

Dr. Clara Formby is a recent graduate of the Cahaba-UAB Family Medicine Residency Program. She is dedicated to building solid relationships with her patients and providing personalized care to meet their unique needs. Dr. Megan Ward is also a recent graduate of the Cahaba-UAB FMR and is a compassionate and knowledgeable physician focusing on preventive care and disease management. She believes in empowering her patients to take control of their health and make informed decisions about their healthcare. Dr. Josiah Smiley recently joined the Cahaba family as a faculty physician with the goal of providing high-quality, evidence-based, whole-person care in the name of Jesus. Sharay Shanes, our new office manager, brings years of experience in healthcare administration. She is committed to ensuring that our clinic runs smoothly and efficiently and that our patients receive the highest level of care.

Cahaba Medical Care - Woodland Park is located at 873 Dennison Avenue SW in Birmingham. The clinic is open Monday-Friday from 8 am-5 pm (closed daily from 12:30-1:30 pm for lunch.)
